Carnival around the world

This international project brings together researchers from Brazil, the Netherlands and a host of other countries to study the phenomenon of Carnival. How do people experience Carnival in different places? What impacts does Carnival have on the places where it is celebrated? Is the experience of Carnival changing over time? These and many other questions have been addressed by the team over more than a decade, building a valuable resource for longitudinal research.
